Folks I’ve a big problem which I need help with. Tomorrow like every Christmas morning I make a very sentimental journey which is a 3 hour round trip, its only a 98 mile trip.
I went to the in-laws tonight and when I started the car to come home it sounded a loud warning and the dash showed something about the 12v battery. It was loud and quick so I only remember that it read something along the lines of ’12v battery (something) find a safe place to stop’ or something along those lines. It happened twice.
The car started fine and drove the 5mins home with no problems and has about 60mile range left and is currently charging.
I will be in the country side within 15 minutes of my journey and going further into the country side, and as its Christmas day I can’t afford to get stuck in no man’s land as I need to get back to the kids.
I’ve searched online but it was of no help as it’s all so random (American, UK, ice, EV, ioniq, Tesla etc)
Its important that I make this journey, but equally I don’t get stranded as my kids (13 & 5) will see me for about 30 minutes on Christmas morning before I go.
Any help please.
