I like the Attitude in the design, always been a fan of the pixel design headlights. I don’t particular like the “Tucsonesque” side profile, especially the arches (also reminds me of the Pontiac Aztec – one of the biggest mingers ever to grace the earth) – as well as the fact that it is again an ICE converted to EV, rather than a full EV. But the big question of course is the price. The Kona is a lot of EV for the money, we’ll see where they price this one.
The Tucson is like Marmite – you either love it or hate it. I expect this Kona will have a similar relationship.
In a lot of way’s I’m for this “Ice converted to EV”. If it was a “full EV” we probably would have seen a design language of the ID’s interior, which seems the way “full EV’s” are going, which I’m not a fan of. The other thing with “full EV’s” is the raised floor, which may not suit everyone.
