To be honest in general. I can’t believe how folk “autmatically assume” one meant this or that. Its like saying look at that child with a blue icecream and the next child crying Ive got a pink icecream daddy, why hasn’t the man said Ive got a pink icecream! Its an icecream regardless of colour, the same as PIP, DLA, WPMS, AFIP etc are all access benifits, just different names that give access to the scheme. One would quote the benifit that they have claimed or know more about. Its up to those who have a pink icecream to say look Ive got an icecream to “its Pink” or I have “this access benifit neither should that be means tested!!

Totally agree seems there are always some who want to point out what you did not mention and by not doing so you have some how offended someone.

Does everything one posts or comments on need to come with some sort of disclamer now.

It’s like those that watch or read something they don’t like or dissagree with, I’m sure they only watch or read it to complain about it and often it goes too far.

We are mixed bunch of people some with very different disabilities to others, some physical and some mental and sometimes not much thought is given to that on this forum by some. Then others jump in on it and it escalates.

Some seem to want to pick at each word people have said and ridicule you for your use of language and try to explain where you went wrong. why do they feel the need?

There was no need for it imo, and you are right they could of just said and these other benefits also, but no they need to take it one step more.

Personally I don’t think any benefit’s should be means tested and many will disagree, but I have my reasons as to why. I accept that some are and some are not. Which one’s are and which are not, I do not know all benefits entirely. So like many will only know the detail if you have access to or accessed those benefits firsthand.

It’s not on you kezo, it’s on them, although they want it to appear it’s on you. As I feel it makes them feel somewhat better, making others feel worse and creating an arguemnet over something imo so trivial. A reply to a comment naming one benefit.

This is just a general characterisation not aimed at any one particular person, but it does seem sometimes it a commen occurrence on this forum and come’s across to me as being very passive aggressive and imo needs to stop.

My comment is not to fuel this further, but to point out what is to me very obvious. We all are not perfect and do not have the same views or ideals but do share one common interest and is why we on this forum.
