Reducing the AP’s across the board by the £750 makes much more sense than the NCP.
It would require less administration and be cheaper for MB. The administration carries a cost, then the transaction fees plus they’d save £750 on every £0 AP car ordered.
There would be a bigger selection of £0 AP cars to choose from, ideal for anyone who doesn’t have the means to fund even a modest AP and could result in a reduction in the number of grant applications taking pressure off the grants team and helping spread their budget further.
