I agree with Rene, the water droplets thing looks too much to be condensation, I’ve never really seen that in any of my cars except a Vauxhall Vectra when the scuttle drain blocked and water filled the footwells to 2″.

Mileage loss – Stellantis cars are known to lose above average mileage over winter, if you are heating without being plugged in, that kills another 10-15 miles, short journeys heating each time will really hit the range, like popping to the supermarket – lose 10 miles extra there and 10 miles extra back.

Having said that, my Soul EV also loses a decent chunk of range, summer = 250, winter = 200, WLTP alleges 280. EV forums state over 300 easy, but they are full of eco mad hypermiling ex-prius owners – lol. I’d say a 20-25% loss Summer to Winter is pretty much inevitable unless all your driving is in congested streets. Living in the countryside is worse as you never get as much regen.

In the recent very cold snap my mileage dropped even further, my 30 mile commute was 2.2m/kw, and that was with pre-heat. Today the same commute averaged 3.1, no preheat, 5 deg. and 65mph as per usual. A huge difference of 30%.

In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
