We have a fan heater and free standing electric radiator, both 2 kw. I prefer the radiator, the fan heater is too noisy.
Agreed fan heaters are noisy, but for instant heat in 5 minute bursts I don’t know how else to do it, the free standing radiator would need to be switched on prior to Mike using the treadmill in which case he would be better off just switching his central heating radiator on.
