Another update,
OVO power have been in touch with more questions, they wanted evidence of the cross bonding between the water pipes and having had a photo of the mains incoming to the isolator switch said they needed it changing by our energy provider to be a dual pole isolator, the only thing is that it is a dual pole isolator! I sent another photo of that and said it is a double pole isolator so our supplier isnt going to change it anyway, then i pointed out that later wiring regs (edition 17 onwards) state that cross bonding of water pipes isnt needed if the ‘fuse’ box is all RCD types. i expected a ‘well it still needs to be done’ type reply but instead they just replied giving us a installation date of the 9th of Jan so all seems to be going ahead as it should be now, fingers crossed. just need the car now Hi
