The C5 Aircross also has three individual rear seats, one of the reasons why i suggested it. It’s quiet, and undoubtedly the most comfortable suspension on the scheme. Also comes with a heated massage seat in the higher trims for the driver according to the advertisement on their webpage, which does help with circulation too. It’s purely designed to be unashamedly comfortable.
I haven’t looked at APs, specs or engine choices – that’s for the OP to figure out.
While i agree that it’s an absolute crapshoot of a situation, you can’t really blame MB here either. If you take us for example, if we’d have written off our Ateca at the time we ordered our replacement car, it would require MB to pay for a rental for over a year (close to 1.5 even). While that would be great, it’s also objectively a big ask.
Solution would probably be a car pool maintained by MB themselves, potentially chosen from lease returns. The situation isn’t MBs fault (semiconductors/waiting times), and while true that they could certainly do more (for example, speak to dealerships directly to get an “emergency deal” and pay closer to retail for a vehicle from stock), it really isn’t fair to suggest that MB is the reason he’s in trouble now.
