I cannot drive the car without this equipment and am likely to have to reject the car. A grant has been issued for a Skoda but that will be a 7 month wait, nearly two years for a new car.
If that is the case, I would say that’s what you gotta do as you’ll then be in a car for 3 years minimum that you cannot or struggle to drive.
I ‘d be the same without adaptive cruise control. It’s made a huge difference having it on my last 3 cars I could not go back to days without it and the extra pain not having it causes me.
On my curent car I have a rear camera but no parking sensors and for me that’s good enough and not an issue. It has blind spot monitoring but again i could do without that, but is useful as is the cross traffic alert.
Only you truely know the answer and it really suxx after such a long wait.
