This happened to us with Mrs Stewart’s car 7 days before collecting her new car, 4 days before new car delivery our damaged car was taken away on a low loader never to be seen again.
Advised motability of accident and RSA, we declined loan car offered by other drivers insurance and RSA not worth the hassle for a few days.
Contacted dealer who was supplying our new car and advised him of the situation, he had to get in touch with motability to find out what he should do as we had no car to return.
Collected new car on the date we had previously arranged without any problem.
Good condition bonus took a while to sort out but eventually we received it in full twice! but had to rip the second cheque.
