They can’t even make the current model in a reasonable time so bring in a Mk3 I would think would just make things worst.
I’ve heard some saying if you order the current Tiguan in early 23 then you will get the Mk3 sometime mid to late 2024.
Unless they sort their supply chains out soon the only way they could keep up with production of the Mk3 is to put less stuff in it. It’s what they did when they change from the Mk2 to the current Mk2.5 and that was when there was no supply line shortages.
