We were lucky enough to be given a grant towards the AP for a Honda CRV which we have extended to 5 years as it was ideal for us at the time. Of course, it is off the scheme now or I would’ve been happy to have it again.
This time around we have been v.v.lucky to have been partially funded for a Hyundai Tucson plug in hybrid 4×4 which meets our needs.
I had given Motability a shortlist of cars I had already researched and told them the reason why I had already rejected some, such as us needing SUV height due to my spinal issues.
The other cars they offered were Seat Ateca 4×4 (was on my list but rejected at test drive as I found the seats uncomfortable) and Skoda Kodiaq 4×4 (rejected as mpg way too low).
So I gave them a list of 3 cars and they gave me a list of 3 cars, I ordered it last week and it should be here in July.
