Just signed up for Electric Universe – which seems to be affiliated to Octopus Energy.
There is also an iOS app to down load – the filters allowing you to screen out non relevant charging points seem quite good – they have yet to link it to a route planner but that is soon to come.
I decided to give it a go
1 because Octopus power is becoming a large power provider – has recently taken over an energy firm that went bust and also had shown a keen interest in EV.
2 It costs nothing to sign up and you would expect a subsidiary of Octopus to be as conscious of security as any.
It is early days and tho they appear to have big plans for Electric Universe it is still early days.
I will let you know my thoughts as the weeks go by – has anyone else shown an interest in this.
