What I find frustrating is that decide on a certain trim level and then you realise something important is missing like parking sensors or curtain air bags but you can then add them as options for £x. Then you realise that the next trim level up will cost you £y. At which point you realise that you could get the next model up with a smaller engine for £y!
But you also realise that a different manufacturer has a limited time offer on a different vehicle for £y plus a few £s.
And so it goes round and round.
Hence, I know it may sound contrary to current opinion, I would like MB to CUT the number of variants which skew the number of vehicles available. Instead, negotiate with the brands to offer higher spec (and often safer models) at a lower AP based on volume and that higher specification models always have better residuals.
