Aren’t the diesel being killed off in 2030 so writing is on the wall anyway for personal diesel cars as we live in the communist west where were given no choice but to do as were told regardless who we may vote for.
New car sales of petrol and diesel will be banned from sale in 2030, so pure ICE vehicles will slowly demise on ou roads, but you continue to see them into the 2040’s.
Same with the proposed 2035 ban on sales of new hybrids in 2035. I would expect to see them on our roads in the late 40s early 50s.
What is concerning is we don’t have the infrastructure or ability to cope soley with EV’s.
