I know a few of you are good at tracking the boats and are aware of the times to ship. How long does it typically take after the cars built, to sit in the lot- then ship and get here? I’ve seen a few things saying 2 months? I wanna get a rough idea cus I think I’m gonna raise a complain. Its been 7 months with so far 6 different dates and no actual info, this isn’t fair imo and a company this big should surely have an accurate allocation and tracking service? Bmw was miles ahead. During peak covid they got the car ready in 3 months with weekly updates and allocated build dates etc.
Typiccaly 10-12 weeks, 5 weeks to ship, 3 to do PDI and transport to dealer and a week for the dealer, that leaves 2-3 weeks in port after build complete.
