Hi Chris I had an “out of the blue” email update from my dealer yesterday saying they’ve been told by VW my car will be built in week number 48. Sounds promising but unfortunate I also know the date is not a confirmation and means nothing until at least 4 week before the build date then if its still week 48 at the start of November then it will be built the end of November but in all honesty there still plucking dates out of thin air. It’s strange but a lot of us, Motability and private customers have been getting notification from their dealers this week about possible build dates and can’t help feeling VW have told dealers to contact everyone this week to help reduce phone calls to them when they can’t give an answer.
Had another out of the blue call from my VW dealer today and glad to say they have got a build date for my Tiguan, week 39 end of October so there hoping I will be collecting in December.
