who knows if enough people complain things may improve although i doubt it. i am currently researching a possible renewal on 8 dec as current lease is up in march and boy is it a pain. i went on saturday to brimington road in chesterfield as there are about 10 dealerships there mostly stratstone owned. not one had any disabled parking available and in fact only renault had any customer parking at all and you had to park on the road for the rest. meaning a 20-30m walk to the dealership showroom. then to cap it all i get a lecture in citroen about how motability should be binned by manufacturers and dealerships shouldnt offer it or for that matter disabled parking bays. not a fun day and ended up in bed most of yesterday because of all the toing and froing. so i doubt i will be going back.
There isn’t one single dealership out of them all there that are disabled friendly and if they do have any disabled parking spaces you’ll find them occupied by one of their own vehicles.
