All I am clear about is that some people are reading this as us getting more money. Others are reading it as us getting less money. Yet more are reading at as we get the same, but split over two payments!
What is it with companies these days? So many of them are completely incapable of explaining things in plain English that is impossible to misinterpret. The energy suppliers are the same at present. I have read everything at least twice from my energy supplier and my elderly Mums (different supplier) and phoned them and I am still unclear as to whether the £400 rebate (£66/67 a month) is credited to the account (as I’d prefer, so we pay less) or whether we pay the full whack at the new (higher) prices and then receive a cash refund to our bank accounts, which seems daft to me but is what some of the communication suggests. All clear as mud. Hopeless.
