@Glos Guy – If BMW were still on the scheme we would more than likely get the 2.0L petrol X1. It’s a brilliant car and I love the iDrive system. I’ll be gutted when it goes. We mainly fuel the car at Costco and diesel is 23p a litre more than petrol, which is 149.9p. With them trying to get diesels off the road I really can’t see the gap between the fuels decreasing.
@richums and @Jamie+Trangmar – Looking online that seems a decent engine and has brilliant economy for a 2.0L engine. We’ll look at the Mazda but my concern is we get it and end up having to keep a car that isn’t good on fuel. With Skoda following under the VAG group hopefully they have good fuel economy.
