    Count yourself lucky Oscar as my energy company tell’s me countless times when trying to submit a reading that I can’t because I have a smartmeter.

    This will make you laught, or cry in my case, last week they told me they would stop my discount if I did not renew my direct debit and then directed me to a radio button to set up the direct debit. First question, before we can set up your direct debit we need a meter reading from you then goes on to say “if you have a smart meter we don’t need a meter reading” and there is nowhere in my account to input a meter reading.

    Albert Einstein will be turning in his grave that the low lives that run this country are using his name in promoting smartmeters that don’t work.

    Just counting my immediate family of 4 none of us have smart meters that show on the UI how much gas there using though a couple of them do work on the electric side of things.

    My so called “smartmeter” display works but shows rates that are a year and half out of date and when I’ve asked them to push the current rates they tell me “we don’t support the display after a year of it being fitted” even though I’ve told them there’s nothing wrong with the display it’s working fine but just has incorrect rates showing.

    Tried to report this to Ofgen last Friday who had a note up un there website site saying “we are closed for the bank holiday Monday the 26th of September” so just wonder where in the World this uselesss lump of lard work from.
