Like you fwippers through my own experience of the Kona and the experience and info shared by other members of this forum it seems clear that owners of the updated Kona are proving that the 30o mile range as stated by Hyundai is not only a realistic yearly average, but takes into account normal sensible usage of the car.
It also makes you wonder if some of the reported so called reviews really bothered with a strict real world test or just took the easy way of agreeing with previous reviews – either that or hyundai have made improvements to the battery technology that they haven’t made a big issue of.
It will be interesting to see what stats are shared over the winter period – I am particularly interested to see how good the heated seats and wheel are on frosty mornings – especially from people who don’t have a home charger and so don’t have the option of preconditioning the car whilst plugged in.
