Our previous car was immaculate, aside a small scratch, part of which had gone through to the metal. If the car was dirty you wouldn’t even see it, but the dealer put ir down as a fail. I took photos as I thought they were being pedantic even though motability do say if its penetrated the paint it should be repaired. Within 5 mins of the dealer sending the report, motability had emailed confirming the good condition payment. They must have something in their system that allows, perhaps, one dent/scratch. The cynic in me believes the dealership purchased the car and wanted me to repair it so they didn’t have to! All ended well but left a sour taste and I’ll probably switch service to a different one.
