We managed to get the VAT back after paying the full price on a new car purchase a few years ago.
Went and explained the situation to the sales manager, basically we has had adaptions fitted which we got the VAT reduction on but they had not applied it to the vehicle.
We filled the form in and eventually the Finance company adjusted the monthly payments accordingly.
