I’m a year past the change over to my new cars with all the delays and had ordered a new hoist for the next car whenever it gets delivered.
Since ordering the next car last October I’ve change my scooter to an auto-folding type and now use a Elev8 lift to lift the scooter into the car. As this lift is independent of the car the old Auto-Chair hoist just became a hazard taking up too much room in the car so I removed it.
Goes without saying I contacted MB to tell them to cancel the hoist I had ordered for the new car and told them about my annoyance at the current cost of the new hoist and that I’m removing the hoist that’s in my current car.
They were OK with that but it is possible (as they sometimes don’t listen to us ?) that it went over their heads when I said “I’m removing the hoist” from my current car but I’ve still got all the parts here if they want it back and it would not take 10 minutes for my grandson to re-install it should it be necessary.
Will see sometime over the next 3 or 4 month when the old car is returned if they say anything about the missing hoist and will try to remember to come back to this thread with an update.
