If unsure about alarm leave your key some distance away and give the car a rock – preferably not early on a Sunday morning ??
I keep my key in a foil lined wallet and in a faraday style box in the house with the spare.
I have noticed I have to be much closer to the car to open it with fob in my pocket than I had to with the Prius. I wonder if it is a deliberate ploy to shorten the transmission range to make it harder for thieves.
I still haven’t mastered the knack of opening door first time – I still on occasion find I have to re lock and open again – wing mirrors flapping even more than me ???
