What gives you the impression that they intend to not honour existing orders?
VW hasn’t cancelled a single order, be it MB or private, due to supply issues. I’m weird that way, but if nothing suggests that my order is getting cancelled, then the question very much isn’t “if” but “when”.
I understand being frustrated with the waiting, we’re currently in month 10 (it’s not just the ID3 that has problems) with no end in sight, but we very much have zero doubt that we’ll get the car eventually.
