Dealerships don’t place orders with the factory the minute you place the order with the salesman. There are a limited number of slots available for ordering at the factory which means it’s common to wait a month until the factory receives your order. It doesn’t matter that much these days anyway, because you’ll be waiting well over a year for your vehicle regardless.
