Much the same story with my VW Tiguan ordered last October and still no build date. Rumour has it it might be delivered in November but vibes appearing now are saying it might now be in the new year.
Of all the manufactures that have problems (most of them) VW have dug themselves the deepest possible hole and can’t see them getting out of it without cancelling current orders or stopping new orders.
Of course we at Motability have already had a stop put on our new orders but other leasing companies and private sales are still being ordered.
