The vehicle I had over the two and a bit years is in demand on the pre-owned market and equivalent ones have only dropped £2-3k from the RRP, so MB with their arrangements will not be at a loss on the vehicle.
Up until the car was returned, I had covered more miles in hire cars than in the scheme car. I never really had what i had entered into an agreement over.
Like many other people have found the scheme vehicle selection is very limited and nothing suitable for our needs. One benefit of the last few years is that I was forced to live with many of them as hire cars. Even if I could order one the AP’s for most are out of my reach and of course would not get one for many, many months.
I am currently stuck in an unsuitable hire vehicle. Getting a vehicle where you can put a scooter in and an assistance dog is quite a battle. My lease ends in January at which point MB will want the hire vehicle back.
Living where we are without a vehicle will make me more housebound. Not a good position to be in
