ordered a 1.6 petrol 3 auto 2wd 28th April and was told 12 weeks which meant a July delivery.
I called the dealer wk 7, asked if there were any delays as according to the forums I’m following, July delivery seemed hugely optimistic, he claimed that there were no delays and said the same wk10. I then called wk 12, and said that it was expecting a build date with in a few days, I didn’t receive any news, so I call wk 15, to be told no news and no dates on the system yet. I called Tuesday, to be told that the dealer is off until Monday, so I asked if there was any one else that can update me. This is week 17. I get a call back 10 minutes later and was basically told off for calling, and that I shouldn’t have been told 12 weeks delivery, she had customers with orders before mine and told them August to October delivery schedules, so my order would be November at the earliest ?
So it seems that one dealer leads you by a stick and carrot and the other dealer is brutally honest!
She said that my dealer will call me Monday, but I’m down in the dumps now and all I want to do is play with my shiny new toy ?
has anyone else who ordered a 3 had theirs yet?
