Unfortunately some of us are not on means-tested benefits purely because we worked when we were able to and paid enough National Insurance contributions. (I’m on contribution-based ESA, not income-based)
I worked full time as a sparky prior to my illness stopping me working. Foe the first year and half I got contribution based ESA, It then changed to income based there after as my contribution based was 95% income 5% I dont know why this happened tbh.
