Sorry to hear about your MIL @kbfern. I do hope she makes a full recvery soon.
My BIL was in hospital (ic) just under 9 weeks and no one even thought t inform anyone and his money was still paid and no one ever questioned it. If they had we would have just said we were that worried and busy to even think about it. The chances anyone will find out is none from our expierence.
Worth considering before you inform anyone.
