    Yup holding left paddle will stop car..eventually. it’s not as quick as brekes so no use if you need to stop fast. I can on some occasions drive a whole journey without using breake pedal. You just have to think a bit further ahead.

    I find town and slower roads having paddles on 2 or3 is best, but on fast RDS leave paddles off and use the smart function.

    The car will break when following a car etc when on cruise.
