73KWh used over 320 miles. This includes a couple of trips over the pennines via the M62 and an additional return trip over Snake pass.
Charged for free so far. Podpoint has performed perfectly too, always getting 11-11.1KW up until 99% when it slows down considerably.
Of note to some with similar mobility issues: Even if I have a ‘bad day’ for a few days in a row, meaning unable to get out and about or out to charge, the Kona has enough range to feel confident she’ll have enough in the tank to cover those days. On ‘semi bad’ days where you can charge but need a 2 min/£2 taxi fare to/from the charge point, it still comes out at 7.5p/Kwh so an excellent price. As things stand I can absolutely recommend an EV without home charge point if you live near enough to a free bp Pulse or Podpoint charger and are confident wheeling/walking that distance a couple of times a week. For me it’s actually excellent, I’m getting more fresh air than for a long time.
