I guess the £20 for a hire car would be insurance, which isn’t applicable to mb customers. The same would apply to the pick up and drop off fee. As @struth says tell them your a mb customer or ring mb.
I know last couple of years dealerships were charging a sanatising fee, although as far as I’m aware that is no longer aplicable.
