As a matter of interest the money laundering regulations, require any business taking cash payments of the equivalent of 10,000 euros or more to be registered. Car dealers are not going to be registered.

Can you imagine a drug dealer going into a dealership and saying I want to buy that £200k car for cash as he can not declare is money legitimately because he is on the dole. Just not going to happen today!
