We have bought a 2017 Mazda3 SEL-NAV 2.2 Skyactive D. 55-60mpg easy and £30 tax for 12 months were the main factors. Its lower obviously than the Ateca but at least the passenger seat is height adjustable which helps my missus get in and out, we don’t actually pick up the car until next week but we have researched physically and online and also has heated seats which were a must for my partner as the cold inflames her condition terribly in the winter. Unfortunately we can’t afford a nearly new Ateca/tiguan type as they are a few grand more for same year and we got this for just over 9k which is a very good price for engine/spec combination. If we have made the wrong choice then motability have said we can order again but not for the 1st 6 months and if all goes well with this mazda3 then we may well go for one of those.
