I had the same infotainment issue on my SEAT, It would lock up. However, pressing the the start/stop button didn’t turn the engine off. What you had to do was to put into park, open the door, close the door and restart. You get some bizarre looks when you are stuck in traffic doing this. On a motorway could be entertaining ….
