My SEAT Tarraco has the same fault. It is related to the seatbelt system and is a well known fault. Quite often it is a lose connection under the seat.
@John. I have had exactly the same problems with my Tarraco. It has been in the dealership for the last two months. My car is 19 plate and I have had problems for the last 2 1/2 years. As you say VAG are aware of the problems but don’t want to accelerate the fix.

What really disappoints me is that I had two Leon’s on the scheme and they were perfect with virtually no faults – only a seat bracket broke on one. However, I have vowed never to have a VAG vehicle again.
