Our Ateca (VAG group as well) has had this problem since March 21 when we picked it up. Digital cockpit goes haywire as well, air con won’t work, and the auto hold function is now also affected. Seat have been utterly useless from day 1. They just keep saying they are waiting for a software update…. for 16 months!!! Car is going back to motability this weekend. Gone private instead. Fed up of the lack of choice and ridiculously high APs.
