I’ve been a long time Sky customer , I love the Sky Q interface and how reliable and easy it is to operate
on the same note I’ve always loathed VM, I know they promise the Earth with their BB speeds but having witnessed some friends going into meltdown over the years with the amount of times their service drops, the poor customer service and general ???’ness of them I’ve always avoided
That changed about 4 months ago when all my contracts were coming to an end
Sky Q for Tv and BT for BB
i managed to get the exact same package i had with Sky , all the channel, sports, movies , HD , 2 boxes , blah blah and with 1gb BB for about £70/£80 less than I was paying Sky and BT so I bit the bullet and jumped ship
is it as good? Nope lol , but you get used to it and for the saving especially now with everything going on it’s something I can live with ?
tbh I’ve not have too many drops BB wise and that 1gb speed is mightily impressive , the times it has dropped have been sooooo annoying as it’s usually been in the middle of an important game on my PS5 ?
I also got 2 unlimited 5g sims, unlimited calls, texts and data which I guess could always come in handy
I have tried one and the signal is crap compared to EE but 2 freebies to keep in a drawer incase of an emergency I guess
so my take on it is , it’s not on the same level as Sky or BT in terms of reliability, Customer Service , Picture Quality or user interface
but if you can get a good deal price wise then it’s hard to beat in that respect ??
