On every level yes & during my 25 years on the scheme I’ve only ever come across one dealership I rated.
on the whole I find dealers inept, lacking product knowledge & minimal disability awareness.
having said that I am a bit ocd and expect good service.
I go through a long list, test drive to ascertain my shortlist – only when I’ve made my final decision on which car to order, do I then divulge that I’m a motability customer – most [dealers] don’t care but a few dealers have changed their attitude.
The pre ‘chip shortage / supply issues’ excuses and the low number of vehicle choices & too often extortionate AP’s.
the scheme has been a lifeline & the premise remains the same but imho it is no longer fit for purpose – the bankers, board / CEO & senior management at motsbility operations are taking us for mugs – which is seeping through to dealerships too.
