I used the dealer provided puncture repair canister in my octavia a few years ago and the mobile kwik fit guy said he could have just plugged the tyre but he had to change the whole tyre because I had used the puncture repair canister. Seemingly they can’t or aren’t allowed to repair the tyre after the adhesive has been used to stop a slow puncture.
I am uncertain if you purchased the kit yourself then it may be seen as deliberate damage.
