We have an ev and another on order (non scheme) and have covered 16000 miles for £120 so 0.75p per mile Weve been lucky having free chargers at work and octopus at night, if we was paying public chargers it would probably be around 10p per mile We had a xc40 phev previously but it didn’t work out for us and we handed it back, for those who are only doing short trips a phev is good but if you’ve an opportunity to go ev and can benefit from cheap charging it’s great I like reading brydo’s posts on this but I do wonder if this would limit how far someone would want to go on a daily drive

James if we did not tow a caravan we would change from a PHEV to a full EV on our current tariff 5p kWh  and 6,000 miles a year it works out £75.00 a year

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
