The standard seats are different to the Pro variant seats. (Mine is an Inscription Pro)
The Pro gave extendable knee bolsters and it’s these that commonly cause the issue.
The standard seats are a little shorter in the seat pad length and are better cushioned.
Volvo, in their quest to make the seats as minimalist as possible, have really dropped one one the front seats. They are so thin that there’s not enough cushioning before you hit the plate supporting the knee bolster.
We are going to persevere (I can sit in the back if needed) and have decided that, even though this is only my second, it will be our last Motability car.
I have just helped someone else leave the scheme as the money is needed elsewhere and I have come to the same conclusion.
I’ll be shopping this time next year for my ‘retirement car’ and have a pretty big shortlist that needs working on. 🙂 The VW Pheaton being at the top at the mo 😉
The XC40 was £2k so a £4.5k AP, or the such, just does not compute for me. ?
? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?
