Just called a few places and asked the same question “are all paint colours included for free on the Motability scheme?”. Got a range of answers.
The one you mentioned, Marshalls in Ashford – “All colours are included except for Pearlescent which are £150 extra.”
Regal Motors (Wolverhampton) – £150 extra for pearl.
Arbury (Stourbridge) – £150 extra for pearl.
Startin’ Peugeot (Redditch) – he thinks FOC, but he’s not sure because the Motability specialist isn’t in.
Telford Motors – FOC. Very knowledgeable chap. This is first place to 100% confirm that it depends on the dealership. Some charge, some don’t, and one dealer isn’t obliged to match the offering of another. It’s at their discretion.
That would explain why we’re both hearing two different stories.
