@Kezo KSN was asking about the difference between MHEV and HEV, not ICE and MHEV. I agree that the difference between ICE and MHEV is pretty much zero, but the difference between MHEV and HEV will be fairly substantial (hence the much faster 0-60mph time).
Yes. I was just mainly answering the beginning of @KSN question “Please can anyone advise if they have actually driven the new Sportage with the mild hybrid 1.6 petrol engine? ” and briefly went on and talked about power difference at the latter part of my comment. I also suggested going to Hyundai to test the MHEV/ICE as Kia only had the FHEV to test, just to give @KSN an idea what the MHEV/ICE power would feel like compared to his current vehicle 🙂
