@Rene, I didn’t actually realise the Kona was that heavy! I stand corrected.
I knew that it was heavier than the Kona diesel (as are all EV’s compared to their ICE stablemates) but not that the margin was so large. Even so, brake wear should be much less (regenerative braking) and shocks should still be more than capable of dealing with the increase of kerb weight.
I have read (but have not confirmed) that Tesla don’t even mandate an annual service any longer, recommending an “as and when / if something develops” approach, and that the Model 3 has service interval of 25,000 miles
