Using adjustable regenerative braking, you can bring the speed down to 5mph without having to touch the brake pedal and to make it stop completely, pull the left paddle fully.
You can even use the left paddle as the brake, it will apply maximum regenerative braking and can bring the car to a stop, no need for the foot brake.
As regards Smart Cruise Control (SCC), as Johntheleg says, the car will stop and go without touching any pedals, what is not commonly known is the Smart Regeneration Braking setting, this monitors the road and any vehicle in front of you and can automatically control the amount of regen on how quick it needs to stop and will slow the car right down so maximising the amount of energy that can be regenerated. Unfortunately, it cannot be used in conjunction with the SCC
